The 15th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair (2009 Yiwu Fair) was closed on the afternoon of October 25. The exhibition turnover of the five-day fair has reached 11.543 billion yuan, so the fair has realized the dual rise of professional visitors and the exhibition turnover.
According to the statistics from organizers, the turnover of this fair has a rise of 11.4% compared with last year, including the foreign trade turnover of USD 1.017 billion, a proportion of 61.7% of the total turnover and the domestic trade turnover of 4.421 billion yuan, a rise of 13.2% compared with last year. Daily consumables, handicrafts, electronics and electrical appliances, hardware and stationeries are top five trades in exhibition turnover list.

According to the data from access control system of the exhibition hall, 123296 professional visitors from 158 countries and regions participated in 2009 Yiwu Fair with a rise of 17.2% year-on-year, including 17484 foreign traders with a rise of 8.5% year-on-year.
The booths in the International Pavilion increased from 45 last year to 108 this year, displaying the products from 27 countries and regions like USA, UK, Spain, Italy, Africa, Brazil, Japan and Malaysia. Products from Korea occupied 2/3 of all booths. The Korean Pavilion also held a serioous activities of Korean Pavilion Day to attract purchasers . Yiwu also signed a friendly exchange letter of intent with Leganes, Spain and held a trade discussion with Leganes, which increases the international color to Yiwu Fair.
