Usage Method

(1)Hand Wrapping Method - Place the injured hand flat on the center of the triangular bandage, with the fingers pointing to the apex, the bottom edge across the wrist, and then fold the apex back and pull it up to the back of the hand. Then, cross the two bottom corners over each other on the palm or back of the hand and pull them up to the left and right sides of the wrist to wrap and tie.

(2)Forearm and Upper Arm Dressing Method - This method is used for large upper limb injuries, such as burns. After tying a corner of the triangular bandage around the injured hand, leave a little extra length for each knot. Then, pull the other corner along the back of the arm to the opposite shoulder, wrap the injured limb with the top corner, bend the forearm to the chest, and tighten the two corners to make a knot, which serves as a suspension function.

(3)Leg and Foot Wrapping Method -- Place the foot toward the base of the triangular bandage, position the foot close to the base corner, cross the top corner over the longer side of the base corner, wrap the bandage around the calf and tie it, then fold the other base corner over the arch of the foot and tie it around the ankle with the base edge.

(4)Knee Bandage Method - Fold the triangular bandage into an appropriate width to form a strip. Place the middle of the strip diagonally over the injured area, with the two ends pressing down on the upper and lower sides respectively. Cross the ends behind the knee, with one end going up and the other going down, and wrap the bandage around, tying the knot behind the knee, forming an "8" shape.

(5)Thigh Bandage Method - Fold the top corner and the middle of the bottom edge (slightly biased towards one end) of the triangular bandage, and use the folded edge to bind the root of the thigh. Tie the knot inside the inner thigh. The two bottom corners are raised, one in front and one behind, with the rear corner being longer than the front corner. Pull the corners towards the opposite side and tie the knot at the upper edge of the iliac bone;

(6)Headscarf Tie--Place the midpoint of the bottom edge of the triangular bandage on the upper part of the forehead, with the top angle extending down through the center of the head to the back of the pillow. Then, pull the bottom edge forward and up through the ears, cross at the back of the head, and press down on the hanging corners of the pillow to cross around the ears and up to the forehead, tightening and tying. Finally, fold the top angle back into the bottom edge or use a safety pin or adhesive tape to secure;

(7) The packing method for brain tissue protrusion - when brain tissue protrudes from a wound, it should not be compressed. First, a large piece of disinfected wet gauze should be covered, and then a gauze roll should be used to form a protective ring, covering the protruding brain tissue, and then wrapped with a triangular bandage.

(8)Head Mask Bandage Method -- Used for extensive facial injuries or burns. The method involves tying the top of the triangular bandage, placing it over the chin, covering the face and head, and pulling it to the back of the neck. After crossing the bottom edges and pulling them tight, tie them at the forehead. Then, cut holes or windows around the mouth, nose, and eyes.

(9)Single-eye Head Bandage Method - Fold the triangular bandage into a bandage four fingers wide, place it diagonally over the injured eye with two-thirds of it downward, pass the longer end behind the head and around the forehead to press against the shorter end, then continue to wrap the longer end along the forehead to the healthy side temporal region, and fold the shorter end back around the occipital region to the healthy side temporal region and tie the ends together.

(10)Headband for both eyes - Fold the triangular bandage into a bandage about four fingers wide. Cover one injured eye with the central part, and then wrap the lower end around the ear, behind the head, and up to the mid-forehead, pressing the upper end. Continue to wrap around the head to the front of the opposite ear, and fold the upper end diagonally down to cover the other injured eye. Then wrap the lower end around the ear and tie it at the opposite ear or behind the head. You can also use a bandage to wrap the head in a cross-way method. The method of wrapping both eyes can also be done by folding the triangular bandage into a bandage about four fingers wide and wrapping it around the head twice horizontally, tying it at one side.

(11)One-sided chest wound dressing method -- if the wound is on the right chest, place the apex of the triangular bandage on the right shoulder, then pull the left and right base corners across the armpits to the back (the left corner should be longer) and tie them. Then pull the apex across the shoulder and tie it with the double base corners. Alternatively, use the apex to tie it. If it's on the left chest, place the apex on the left shoulder. The use on the left and right backs is the same as for the chest, but the knot should be made in the front;

Full chest bandage method -- cut the top angle of a large triangular bandage about 25~30 cm straightly in the middle, place it on the left and right sides of the neck, then tie the left and right corners of the base behind in half knots, and then tie the two corners of the knot up and the two ends of the top angle torn to each other;

Shoulder Bandage Method - First, place the center of the triangular bandage over the shoulder, with the top angle towards the neck and the bottom edge folded to a width of two fingers across the upper part of the upper arm. Then, wrap the ends around the upper arm and tie them outside. Next, pull the top angle tight and pass it through the back, around the opposite side of the armpit, and pull it down to the injured side's armpit. Finally, use the straps and the two bottom angles to tie the knot;

(14)Abdominal Dressing Method -- Lay the triangular bandage horizontally over the abdomen, with the apex pointing down and the bottom edge placed at the navel. Tighten the bottom corner and wrap it around to the back to make a knot. Then, pull the apex through the perineum to the upper part of the buttocks and tie with the excess material from the bottom corner. This method can also be used to dress the buttocks, but the difference is that the apex and the two bottom corners on the sides are tied at the abdomen;

(15)The Sling Method for the Forearm -- by bending the forearm and suspending it with a triangular bandage in front of the chest, it is called a sling for the forearm. This is used for forearm injuries and fractures. The method is to place the triangular bandage on the healthy side of the chest, with the bottom edge parallel to the trunk and the upper end crossing over the shoulders, with the apex pointing to the elbow of the injured arm. The injured arm is bent into a right angle and placed in the middle of the triangular bandage, with the lower end going around the injured arm and reversing over the shoulder on the injured side, and the two ends are tied at the back of the neck or laterally. Then, the apex is folded back and fixed with a safety pin;

(16)Sling for forearm--Fold a triangular bandage into a bandage and suspend it to support the front of the forearm (without supporting the elbow), suitable for shoulder joint injuries, clavicle and humerus fractures.
