1. Performance and Usage
Kapton tape, also known as polyimide insulating tape, is made from polyimide film as the substrate and synthesized with imported organic silicon pressure-sensitive adhesive. It has exceptional performance in high-temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, electrical insulation (H-level), radiation protection, etc. It is used to protect the gold fingers during wave soldering, shielding for through-hole soldering and wave soldering on electronic circuit boards. It is also used for high-grade electrical insulation, motor insulation, and insulation protection for lithium battery positive and negative terminals and high-temperature coils.
