Useful Tips for Properly Using Adhesive Tapes:
"Please confirm the following points when performing tire repair operations to discover a leak:":
1. Mark the puncture area of the tire and remove the puncturing object.
2. Use the tire patch probe to determine the direction of the puncture, insert it along the direction of the puncture to clean up the dust and debris inside the puncture.
3. Cut the end of the adhesive tape into an oblique angle and insert it into the front hole of the needle tool, ensuring that the length of the adhesive tape at both ends of the hole is roughly the same.
4. Insert the tire plug with the adhesive tape into the tire through the hole, ensuring that the tape is inserted to a length of 2/3.(Must ensure that the cold-applied gasket is fully penetrated into the tire body to prevent it from sliding out after inflation),Rotate the plug pin 360 degrees and then pull out the plug pin.
5. Cut off the remaining tire repair tape that is outside the tire, leaving a 5mm length at the tread.
Notes:
1. Must use a probe to determine the direction of the hole, in order to ensure that the direction and position of the adhesive tape insertion are consistent with the direction of the nail hole penetration. Otherwise, air leakage may occur. For example, if the direction of the hole is at an angle of 50 degrees from the tire surface, the probe and the insertion needle should be operated along this inclination.
2. Confirm that the adhesive tape is sufficiently penetrating the tire, then rotate the tape insertion tool one full circle (360 degrees) and pull it out. Ensure that the tape compresses the puncture wound and forms a rotating knot within the tire to prevent air leakage.
3. For deeper oblique hole wounds, it is necessary to ensure the length of the tape to ensure that the tape can penetrate the tire.
