1. This product is for clinical use. It connects to a urinary catheter to measure urine volume.

2. Connect the catheter tip to the drainage tube spire head, press the bladder until urine is seen within the catheter before use.

3. The urine bag meter box should be placed below the bladder.

4.      The hanging method is shown in the diagram. If the mattress is thin, hooks can be used. If the mattress is about 10 cm thick, remove the hooks and hanging rope (as shown in the diagram) and simply attach a strap to the bed frame, placing it in an easily accessible location. Adjusting the strap allows the urine bag to be positioned lower.

5. It is possible to observe urine flow through the probe. When the precise measurement box is placed vertically, the level of the liquid surface on the calibrated scale indicates the amount of urine. If the patient’s urine output decreases or there is no urine output, this can be directly observed, thereby accurately reflecting the patient’s renal function. Any abnormalities can prompt timely awareness and appropriate treatment, helping to minimize harm to the patient.

7.      Rotating the handle clockwise allows urine in the meter box to flow into the storage bag, and it can be reset for re-measurement.

8. The catheter tube is approximately 130 cm long and can hold about 20 ml of urine. It is relatively thin, allowing a liquid level to form, thus achieving the function of a U-shaped tube. This makes it convenient for children and patients with small amounts of urine. Two breathable membranes ensure that the pressure in the chamber remains balanced with the external air pressure.

9. It is best to empty the urine before transporting the patient, and ensure the tube clamps are released.

Precautions

1. This product is sterilized with ethylene oxide and is intended for single-use only. It remains sterile, non-toxic, and free of pyrogens until the packaging is not opened or damaged. If the packaging is damaged, its use is prohibited. Discard it after use.

2. This product should be stored in a room with a relative humidity of no more than 80%, free from corrosive gases, and well-ventilated.

3. Under the specified transportation and storage conditions, the shelf life of the product is two years from the date of sterilization. The product must not be used if it exceeds the sterilization shelf life.
