Each person's ear canal is different in size, and you can choose the appropriate size of the ear canal. If the method is correct, but the ear sinus and ear canal are not good, and the auscultation effect is not good, please pull the outer tube to adjust its elasticity. Improper wearing method, ear sinus and ear canal not close together can cause the hearing effect is not good. For example, when the ear tube is worn backwards, it is completely inaudible.
  Remove clutter: if the stethoscope is kept in a pocket or is not maintained regularly, the cotton, fiber, or dust of the clothing may block the stethoscope's ear canal. Regular maintenance and cleaning will prevent this from happening.
  Check the closeness of the stethoscope: the high quality of the stethoscope is associated with the stethoscope and the patient's body, the stethoscope, and the density of the ear canal. Loose head parts, loose Y pipe and damaged Y pipe will affect the density. The better the density, the more accurate the sound of the patient's voice in the listener's ear. So always check the stethoscope status.

Stethoscope should be stored in relative humidity not more than 80%, should not have corrosive gas and ventilated good indoor.
