Projector Screen Guide:
1. Projected Area: The projected area indicated in our store refers to the white or gray projected parts, which are the usable areas. They do not include the black edges or frames or accessories.
2. Projection screens with wall-mounted options (manual, electric, frame), if the buyer has a dark groove or limited wall length on either side, please note the dimensions of the outer cover and frame when purchasing, rather than just focusing on the projection area size. This will avoid any issues with installation after purchase. If there are no suitable standard sizes, please contact the shopkeeper for custom consultation.
3. Material of the curtain:
A. White Plastic Screen: Gain 1.1, Viewing Angle > 160 degrees, with good color restoration, large field of view, soft light, and long service life. It is suitable for both home and commercial use, with the widest application and the most economical price. For commercial projectors over 2000 lumens or home projectors over 1000 lumens, it is recommended to purchase. It is also widely used in engineering projects, outdoor venues, KTV, etc. It can be cleaned.
B. Glass Bead Screen: Gain 2.5~2.8, Viewing Angle: 45 degrees, with high resolution and good color reproduction, it offers clear images during the day. Suitable for low-lumen projectors to increase projection brightness. Recommended for commercial projectors below 2000 lumens or home projectors below 1000 lumens, LED projectors. Not suitable for outdoor use, cannot be cleaned, and will gradually yellow over time. This is a normal phenomenon of glass bead screens, not a quality issue.
C、High-definition gray screen: gain 1.1, visible angle > 160 degrees, with high brightness, high contrast, good color reproduction, clear imaging, can support 1080P imaging projection, large viewing angle, soft light, long-term viewing is not easy to fatigue. It can be wiped clean.
D、Metal Screen: Gain 3.5, Field of View: 45 degrees, with high resolution and good color reproduction, it offers clear images during the day. It is usually used in engineering projects or low-lumen projectors, such as microprojectors and projectors with a lumen output of less than 100. It is also washable.
E、White Soft Screen: Gain 1.1, view angle > 160 degrees, with good color restoration, large field of view, soft light, and long service life. The white soft screen can be folded, and it remains flat when stretched after folding, making it suitable for buyers who often carry screens on the go, convenient to carry. It can be cleaned.
D. High-definition fiberglass white screen: gain of 1.2, visible angle > 160 degrees, with high brightness, good color reproduction, clear imaging, capable of supporting 1080P imaging projection, large viewing angle, soft light, less fatigue after long-term viewing, uniform thickness of the screen surface, light weight, extremely flat screen surface, not affected by temperature roll edges, processed by special technology, stable physical parameters, the latest screen quality surpasses the current white plastic screen. Suggested to be matched with high-definition projectors. It can be wiped clean.
F, High-definition fiberglass gray screen: gain 0.9, visible angle > 160 degrees, with high contrast and good color reproduction, clear imaging, capable of supporting 1080P imaging projection, large field of view, soft light, less fatigue after long-term viewing, uniform thickness of the screen surface, light weight, extremely flat screen surface, not affected by temperature roll edges, processed by special technology, stable physical parameters, the latest screen quality surpasses the existing gray plastic screen. Suggested to be matched with high-definition projectors. It can be wiped clean.
G、背投幕：使用高透光性的特殊PVC材料（美国产的聚乙烯敷背投银幕布），光线透性极强，透光率达到80%（国产背投幕透光率在50%左右），用于投影机背后投射，正面观看。适用于橱窗展示，和一些特殊场所。
3. The selection of projector screen size:
The size of the projector screen is an important indicator for choosing a screen, and the size of the projector screen should be coordinated with the brightness of the projector, the space of the room, and the actual needs. Now the size of the conventional projector screen includes 60 inches, 72 inches, 84 inches, 100 inches, 120 inches, 150 inches, 180 inches, and 200 inches, etc. Generally, a home projector can project a 100-inch screen within a distance of 3-3.5 meters. Most families in China have living rooms of more than 15 square meters, and a projector screen of more than 80-100 inches can better meet such needs. For home theater users with living rooms or audio-visual rooms with widths of about 5-6 meters, a screen of about 150 inches can be considered to achieve better cinema-level viewing effects.
4. The selection of projection screen ratio:
1：1 projection screens are primarily used for commercial purposes and are generally used for slide projectors. Currently, 4:3 and 16:9 projection screens are the most common. If you are mainly watching television programs, a 4:3 projection screen is more ideal. However, when watching 16:9 movies, the unused space at the top and bottom of the screen will reflect the light back onto the screen, resulting in a blurred image, which affects the visual experience of watching movies. If you have any requirements for the quality of watching movies, 16:9 is the best choice at the moment. Users can choose the screen ratio according to the display ratio of their own equipment and their main use.
5. Maintenance of the projector screen:
1) Do not grab or fold the screen, and do not touch the surface with your fingers or sharp objects, which may cause damage. Do not use a teaching stick to point or draw on the screen.
2) The dust on the curtain should be wiped with a chicken feather broom, and for heavier stains, you can use a cotton ball dipped in clean water to gently wipe it.
3) If there are stains on the white plastic screen, you can use a damp cloth to gently wipe it. For the glass bead screen, it cannot be cleaned or creased, and if there is dust, it can only be brushed off.
4) When the projection screen is not in use, it should be rolled back into the protection box.
5) If any abnormal phenomena occur during use, the machine must be immediately stopped to eliminate the fault.
6) Electric curtains can be used frequently, but the continuous up-and-down rolling time should not exceed 5 minutes each time, otherwise it will cause the motor to overheat. If continuous use is required, it must wait for the motor to cool down before using it. The motor does not need to be added with lubricant.
7) Supported screens should not be used in windy environments. When opening and closing the tripod, please be careful, and avoid sudden cracks to prevent damage to the plastic parts.
6. Odor Issue: The projector screens are all made with PVC coating process, not clothing fabric. Due to the different processing techniques of the products, there may be a slight odor from the process. This will naturally disappear after a few days of use. Please rest assured to use the product.
