Cautions and Contraindications for Cupping Therapy

1. It is not suitable to perform cupping therapy when full or empty.

2. Before applying cupping, ensure that you have emptied your bowels and bladder.

3. The same part should not be cupped every day.

4. After the bruise from cupping therapy has not yet disappeared, it is not recommended to perform cupping again.

5. Women's menstrual period and other bleeding symptoms, cannot be cupping.

6. Do not take a bath immediately after fire cupping, especially not a cold water bath.

7. High fever, convulsions, spasms, etc.

8. Skin allergies or areas of ulcers or breaks.

9. Muscle atrophy or irregular bone contours and areas with abundant hair should not be treated.

10. Use with caution on the lumbar sacral region and abdomen of pregnant women.
