Battery Installation

1. Slide the back cover of the battery compartment open as indicated on the back of the tester.

2. Install two 1.5V alkaline batteries according to the diagram requirements.

3. Cover the battery cover.

The use of an alcohol detector

Preheat

1. Press the power button, the alcohol tester's display will turn on, and the tester will emit a beeping sound at the same time.

2. The alcohol tester display shows "warm up", and at the same time, a countdown from 10 to 0 is displayed, indicating that the alcohol tester is in the preheating state.

Warm Tip

When using an alcohol test device for the first time or after a long period of non-use, the surface of the alcohol sensor may be affected by a large amount of gas impurities, which can affect the performance of the test device. This can lead to the device not functioning normally. First, it is necessary to clean the alcohol sensor, and then as much as possible, repeatedly press the power button to preheat the device multiple times.

Test:

1. After the preheating is complete, the tester displays "Blow," and at the same time, a countdown from 10 to 0 is displayed. The tester enters the testing mode.

2. Blow into the hole for 3 - 5 seconds.

3. Read the test results from the alcohol test instrument display.

4. The number displayed next to "Caution" indicates the range of alcohol concentration in the tested person's body, indicating that the tested person has consumed alcohol. Drive carefully:

0.02% BAC (or 0.2 g/l) to 0.05% BAC (or 0.5 g/l).

0.05% BAC (or 0.5g/l) to 0.08% BAC (or 0.8g/l)

5." Danger" indicates the blood alcohol concentration of the person being tested is within the following range, and there will be a beeping sound alarm. Note: The person being tested is drunk, driving is dangerous.

Auto Shutdown

1. The test result will be displayed on the LCD screen for about 15 seconds, after which the display will show "OFF" for about 2-3 seconds, and the alcohol tester will automatically turn off.

3. If the subject does not blow into the breathalyzer's breath hole, the LCD display will show "0.00".

Attention

To obtain more precise measurement results, the manufacturer recommends that you check 2 to 3 times.

Low Battery Indicator

If the 'L' symbol flashes on the LCD display, it indicates that the battery is low. The alcohol tester will automatically turn off. Please replace the new battery.

Replace the battery

If the alcohol tester cannot be turned on or preheats normally, please replace it with two AA batteries.

Hanging Function

Please follow the diagram instructions to attach the plastic keychain (included in the packaging) to the breathalyzer.

It is recommended to wait at least 20 minutes after drinking before using an alcohol test device. This is because it takes approximately 20 minutes for the body to absorb alcohol from the digestive system into the bloodstream. Additionally, it takes approximately 20 minutes for alcohol to dissipate from the mouth.

To ensure more accurate measurement results, please do not conduct a second test within 3 minutes.

-- Please do not blow liquid into the alcohol test instrument airway.

-- Please do not place the breathalyzer in a sealed space with polluted air.

-- Modifying or replacing internal components of the unit may cause a malfunction of the test instrument.
