Function Description:
The essential tool for swimming pools, saunas, and hot springs.
An ideal tool for simply measuring the pH and Cl2 values of water without any chemical components, allowing for measurements without further guesswork.
Chlorine content level within the safety measurement range: 1.2-1.7 ppm
The pH level within the safe measurement range: 7.2-7.8
Battery: Uses 1 AA batteries.
Product Description of Water Quality Detector:
Chlorine test - Set point:
Before using it for the first time, please adjust the test instrument for the swimming pool water or hot spring water to be tested according to the following order:
1. Use traditional liquid testing tools to test swimming pool water or hot spring water.
Record the chlorine reading for future use (1.5 ppm).
3. No need to adjust the pH.
Finding the calibration point of the tester:
Insert an AA 1.5V battery (with the positive pole facing up) into the battery slot on the handle.
B. Hold the test instrument in one hand and the test rod in the other.
Insert the cleaned metal rod into the water until it reaches the black mark.
D. Use a metal rod to gently stir the water.
When a metal rod is kept in water, adjust the dial on the front of the instrument to the CL direction until it cannot be moved further. Then slowly adjust it back to the right until the pointer points to the position where the traditional liquid testing tool measures the result.
F. Remove the test stick from the water, and do not move the knob. The pointer will slide to the right, stopping at a letter between A and E. This letter is the calibration point.
Please note: Before each test with chlorine, you must set the gauge to the 'set point'.![]()
Testing for Chlorine Content:
The recommended chlorine content in swimming pool or hot spring water is 1.2 to 1.7 ppm.
1. Adjust the pointer to the "adjustment point" position.
2. Hold the test instrument in one hand and the test rod in the other, insert the metal rod into the water until it reaches the black mark. Wait until the needle stops swinging before reading the value.
3. Let the test stick stay in the water and continue to follow the instructions for pH testing.
Test pH value:
The recommended chlorine content for swimming pool or hot spring water is 7.2 to 7.8.
1. Let the test stick stay in water, adjust the knob to the pH direction until it makes a beeping sound (remove the battery when reading the pH value).
2. Wait until the pointer stops swinging to take the pH reading.
3. Gently wipe the test stick and insert it into the slot next to the tester, then store it properly.
Please note: Before each test with chlorine, you must set the gauge to the 'set point'.
