The prototype of MN-35 is the Dodge M35 series truck. The 35 series truck is the most equipped vehicle in the US military and is known as the Army's load-bearing horse. It was produced by Reo in the late 1940s and there were two models at that time: the M34 with a single tire in the middle and rear axles and the M35 with dual tires in the middle and rear axles.
