This instrument is a great aid for horticulture. It can measure the pH value of soil, soil moisture, and light intensity. No battery required. The probe is approximately 17 cm long.
How to use:
When measuring the soil pH and humidity, first insert the probe deeply into the soil, leaving about 1 centimeter above the probe.
Press the button on the pen to MOIST. MOIST is the moisture level key; in the chart, it corresponds to MOIST. DRY means dry, WET means wet. Values 1–3 (red area) indicate that watering is needed, 4–7 (green area) indicates it is appropriate. Adjust the watering time according to the plant variety. Values 8–10 (blue area) indicate that it is too wet.
Press the button on the pen to PH; PH refers to pH value, which is listed as 8-3.5 in the table. ALKALINE indicates alkali, ACDIC indicates acid, and a value of 7 generally represents neutrality. The smaller the number, the higher the acidity; please adjust the soil pH according to the plant species.
The LIGHT key indicates light intensity, with a measurement range of 0-2000 lumens. The higher the value, the stronger the lighting; please decide whether shading is needed based on the plant variety.
When using it, be careful not to touch the stones while inserting the electrode. Do not apply excessive force, otherwise the electrode may be damaged. Clean the electrode thoroughly after use.
