The use of blood collection needles: Blood collection needles are commonly used in conjunction with cupping, and they are also used when measuring blood sugar levels.
Blood collection needles come in a variety of specifications, with the most common being 26G, 28G, and 30G.
26G and 28G refer to the outer diameter of the blood collection needle. The larger the number before the G mark, the thinner the needle is, resulting in less damage to the wound, less bleeding, and better healing. Therefore, needles with smaller blood volumes, such as those used for blood glucose meters, are usually 28G or even 30G, or even finer. This makes the wound smaller and the pain less for the patient, resulting in better customer experience.
As for the issue of two types of needles being interchangeable, it all depends on the specific type of needle and the lancet. Generally, most of the needles available in the market with these specifications can be used in the basic model of lancets.
How to Use a Blood Collection Needle:
1. Rotate the needle cap 360 degrees and break the needle cap.
2, Remove the needle cap
3, Prick the two sides of the palm, as the capillary is rich on both sides, and the pain is also relatively weak, with a large amount of bleeding.
Note: Before blood collection, please wash your hands with hot water and disinfect the finger you will be pricked with an alcohol pad. (We also sell alcohol pads at our store).
