人体温度似身体健康状态的晴雨表，正常的体温一般在36°C～37.3°C（以口腔舌下温度为准，腋下要加0.3-0.5度），37.4°C～38°C为低度发烧，38.1°C～39°C为中度发烧，39.1°C～41°C为高度发烧，大于41°C为超高度发烧；
体温计读数方法一定要看：
对着光线，用拇指和食指拿好体温计，转动温度表，直到可见到一条粗线为止，从水银柱上读取所指数字,从侧面看你可以看到一条细线，如果从正面看，你可以看到一条粗线。你需要看的就是那条粗线。

【注意事项】

1、在测量体温前凡影响实际体温的因素（如饮开水或冷饮或者运动等）均应避免，运动过后请休息20分钟再测。

2、玻璃体温计最高温度值为42℃，因此在保管或消毒时温度不可超过 42℃。由于感温泡的玻璃较薄，应避免过剧震动。

3、儿童测量应在成人监护下进行；若发现破损，应紧急处理，应避免吞服水银，防止水银中毒。
