Usage Instructions

Open the cover (3), and gently clean the detector prism (2) with a soft cloth. Take a few drops of the solution to be tested, place it on the detector prism, carefully close the cover to prevent air bubbles from forming, and ensure the solution covers the entire surface of the prism. Align the light inlet plate (3) with the light source or a bright area, observe the field of view through the eyepiece, rotate the eyepiece and handwheel (6) to make the blue-white boundary line clear. The scale value of the boundary line indicates the concentration of the solution.

Precautions
This instrument is a precision optical instrument. The following precautions should be taken during use and maintenance:
1. One must be careful and cautious during use, strictly follow the instructions, do not loosen any connections of the instrument arbitrarily, avoid falling or collision, and severe vibrations are strictly prohibited.
2. After use, it must not be placed directly in water for cleaning. It should be wiped with a clean, soft cloth. For optical surfaces, avoid any damage or scratches.
3. The instrument should be stored in a dry environment free from corrosive gases.
4. Avoid the loss of spare parts.

5. The adjustment range of the viewing angle dial 6 and the eyepiece 7 is within 2 centimeters up and down. Therefore, the detachment of this component is due to operation exceeding the 2-centimeter limit, not a quality issue; it is an operational error, and our store is not responsible.
