1. Instrument Structure:

Refractometer is designed based on the principle that different concentrations of liquid have different refractive indices, and it has the advantages of being fast, accurate, lightweight, and compact.

 II. Usage Method:

Open the lid (3), use a soft cloth to carefully clean the detection prism (2). Place a few drops of the test solution on the detection prism, gently close the lid to avoid air bubbles, and spread the solution evenly across the prism surface. Aim the instrument's light-entry plate (3) at the light source or a bright area, look through the eyepiece to observe the viewfield, and turn the eyepiece adjustment knob (6) to make the blue-white boundary in the viewfield clear. The scale value of the boundary indicates the concentration of the solution.

Section Three: Instrument Calibration:

Drip a few drops of distilled water onto the detection prism, twist the zero adjustment screw to align the dividing line at the 0% scale. Then wipe the detection prism clean and proceed with the test.

 Attention:

1. Use with caution and strict adherence to the instructions. Do not loosen the connections of the instrument arbitrarily, and do not allow it to be subjected to violent vibrations.

2. After use, do not clean directly in water, but use a clean soft cloth. For optical surfaces, do not cause scratches or damage.

3. The instrument should be stored in a dry and non-corrosive gas environment.

4. Avoid the loss of spare parts.

5. During use, you must be careful and cautious, strictly follow the instructions, and do not loosen the connections of the instrument at will. Do not drop or collide with it, and strictly prohibit any severe vibration.
6. After use, do not directly put it into water for cleaning. Use a clean soft cloth to wipe it. For optical surfaces, do not cause scratches or damage.
7. The instrument should be stored in a dry and non-corrosive gas environment.
8. Avoid the loss of spare parts.

 The instrument has been calibrated before leaving the factory and can be used directly! Do not tighten the eyepiece too much, adjust it back and forth, if you can't adjust it, please adjust in the opposite direction!
