About fabric selection

一、碰击布 (Pongee):是一种人造纤维，质地较柔，布面呈哑色不易反光，像衣物的布料，手感极佳，像天然的物料(例如:棉布) 所造成的布一样，而且抵御冷缩热涨性能良好，所以被广泛使用，直身或折身雨伞皆可使用。
二、涤纶布 (Polyester):1940年在英国发明，是一种以塑胶作為原料的人造纤维。质地较硬，布面反光性強，底层可加上银色底油加強遮光度，价钱比碰较宜，直身或折身雨伞使用。
三、尼龙布(Nylon):1930年发明，是一种石油副产品的人造纤维。布质较轻，手感柔軟，表面反光，冷缩热涨能力一般，亦广泛使用在雨伞上，价钱较涤纶及碰志布贵，直身或折身雨伞适用。
四、牛津布(Oxford Fabric): 牛津布通常使用在室外太阳伞上，布质较厚，一般会使用210T的厚度作为室外太阳伞的伞布。l
五、色丁布(Satin Umbrella Fabric):一种质地柔软，手软順滑的布料，广泛的使用在衣服上，在伞面上涂上一层防水层便制成.
六、PVC:全名是Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)，一种透明的塑胶物料，是一种可造到透明效果的材料，由于伞面与伞面之间容易粘住，所以會加上粉末，减低互相粘住情況，质地较硬，较适合用在直伞上，价钱便宜。
七、T/C棉布: 混合了棉布(Cotton Fabric)及涤纶布(Polyester Fabric)制成的布料，手感比涤纶布柔软，布质较重及较厚，只适合用在雨伞上，价钱较高
八、EVA:一种不透明的塑胶物料，质地较PVC柔软，伞面互相不會粘住，较适合用在直伞上，价钱比PVC高一点。
九、珠光布(Pearl Fabric): 是一种有反光效果的涤纶布布料，伞面有一点点的反光粒，光线充足下，灿烂夺目，一般使用在女士雨伞上，直身或折身雨伞适用。
总结：常用布料为碰击布与涤纶布，涤纶布价格更低，耐用性没有碰击布好
