High-pressure electrostatic dust collector
High-voltage electrostatic precipitator is a device that uses electrostatic purification to capture dust in flue gas. It is an ideal equipment for purifying industrial waste gas. Its purification work mainly relies on the anode and the precipitate pole systems to complete. When high-voltage direct current is input between the two poles, anions and cations are generated in the space between the electrodes, and they act on the surface of the exhaust gas particles passing through the electrostatic field. Under the action of the electric force, they move towards the electrodes with the opposite polarity and deposit on them, achieving the purpose of dust collection. Both pole systems have vibration devices. When the vibration hammer strikes the two pole devices periodically, the dust adhering to them is shaken off and falls into the lower ash hopper, which is discharged out of the machine by the ash discharge device. The purified exhaust gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney at the outlet, completing the process of flue gas purification.
The Working Principle of High-Voltage Electrostatic Precipitator
The working principle of a high-voltage electrostatic precipitator mainly involves the use of a high-voltage electric field to ionize the flue gas, causing the dust in the airflow to acquire negative charges and being pulled towards the anode plates or collecting electrodes by the electric field. Specifically, an electrostatic precipitator is mainly composed of two parts: the electrode plates and the collecting electrodes. The electrode plates are usually made of metal wires with different cross-section shapes, while the collecting electrodes are made of metal plates with different geometric shapes. When a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) power supply is applied between these two poles, a large number of anions and cations are generated in the space between the electrodes, which are then adsorbed by the dust particles in the airflow. Under the action of the electric field force, the dust particles with negative charges move towards the anode, and when they reach the anode, they release the electrons they carry, depositing on the anode plates to form purified gas. In addition, the performance of an electrostatic precipitator is also affected by factors such as the properties of the dust, the structure of the equipment, and the velocity of the flue gas flow. If the specific resistance of the dust is low, the dust particles may be difficult to maintain on the collecting electrodes; on the contrary, if the specific resistance is too high, the dust particles reaching the collecting electrodes may have their charges released with difficulty, which may lead to a decrease in the efficiency of dust removal.
