When the spiral oil press is operating, the oilseed is fed into the feed inlet and gradually guided into the press chamber by the press screws. The rotation of the press screws (dependent on the rotation changes of their pitch) pushes the material embryo continuously inward and presses it. Under the high-pressure environment of the press chamber, significant friction is generated between the material embryo and the press screws and press chamber. When the oilseed reaches the top of the press screws, it is subjected to strong pressure, causing the protein to undergo thermal denaturation, the colloidal structure to be destroyed, the plasticity to increase, and the viscosity to decrease, facilitating the separation of the oil, thereby improving the oil yield of the oil press. The extracted oil flows out along the gaps between the press bars of the oil press. The spiral oil press is suitable for both the production needs of units and small oil factories, as well as for individual operators to perform on-site pressing and sales, or to provide processing services for external customers.
