Product Overview:

This thickness gauge is used to measure the thickness of electroplated or coated layers on metal surfaces, specifically for magnetic materials such as steel/iron with non-magnetic coatings (e.g., chromium/paint/ceramic), and also for non-magnetic materials like copper/aluminum with coating thickness (e.g., paint). The instrument is equipped with a precision probe that automatically detects the base material properties and the coating thickness by means of electromagnetic induction and eddy current effects.
