The roller crusher works reliably, is easy to maintain, has low operating costs, and the size of the discharged material can be adjusted.

When the material enters the crushing chamber of the machine, it is subjected to the shear force of the rotating roll shafts, forcing the material to pass through the gap between the two rolls. At the same time, it is subjected to both rolling and shearing by the roll shafts, causing the material to begin to fracture. The small fractured particles then follow the cut line of the rollers' rotation and are ejected through the gaps between the two roll shafts towards the bottom of the machine. Any large particles that exceed the gap continue to be broken down into smaller particles and are discharged.

The working principle and structure of the roller crusher:

1. The series of roller crushing machines are mainly composed of roller assemblies, roller bearing supports, pressing and adjusting devices, and driving devices, etc.

2. Adjustment of discharge particle size: A wedge or gasket adjustment device is installed between the two rollers. The top of the wedge device is equipped with an adjustment bolt. When the adjustment bolt lifts the wedge block up, the wedge block will push the moving roller away from the fixed roller, thereby increasing the gap between the two rollers, resulting in a larger discharge particle size. When the wedge block is lowered, the moving roller will have a smaller gap between the two wheels due to the action of the pressing spring, resulting in a smaller discharge particle size. The gasket device adjusts the discharge particle size by increasing or decreasing the number or thickness of the gaskets. When more gaskets are added, the gap between the two rollers increases, and when fewer gaskets are added, the gap between the two rollers decreases, resulting in a smaller discharge particle size.

3. The driving mechanism is composed of two motors, which transmit power through V-belts to the grooved wheel to drag the rollers in a relative direction, causing them to rotate. When breaking materials, the material enters through the rollers and is crushed by compaction, with the finished products discharged from below the base frame.

4. For safety, the transmission parts should be installed with safety covers based on actual conditions.

The roller crusher is suitable for crushing medium-hard materials in the fields of cement, chemical, power, metallurgy, building materials, and refractory materials, such as limestone, slag, coke, coal, etc. It is especially effective in the production of pebble and mung bean sand in building materials, with better performance than general crushing machinery.
