Nevertheless, the starting power of the emotional load device is 3-12 times higher, and the continuous power meets the requirements; the starting power must also meet the conditions in order to operate.

For example

If the battery is 12V / 60AH, can a 2000W inverter and a 500W hard drill be used?

1. First, the maximum battery charger is: 1.2 * 60 * 0.8 = 576W, which is >500W.

2. Determine whether the appliance is a resistive appliance or an inductive appliance: the hand drill is an inductive drill.

3. The continuous power of the hand drill is 500W; the duration at 2000W is 1000W; and for powers >500W.

The starting power is generally about 3 times the value (it varies depending on the Dolce vita appliances). Therefore, 500W × 3 = 1500W. The starting power of a 2000W inverter is 2000W. Since it exceeds 1500W, a 500W hand drill can be used together with a 12V / 60AH battery and a 2000W inverter.

How to choose the right battery for an inverter

Working time = U (voltage payment) × I (battery capacity) × 0.8 × 0.9 ÷ power

Example: 12V 50AH battery with a 220V 100W bulb

Working time = 12V × 50Ah × 0.8 × 0.9 ÷ 100W = 4.32 (hours)

Note: 0.8 is the battery discharge factor (constant), and 0.9 is the inverter conversion efficiency (constant).
