Toothpick method

1. First, take about 20-25 centimeters of floss and form a loop. Use the thumb and forefinger of both hands to manipulate a section of about 2 centimeters of floss.
2. Pull the toothpick to and fro, slowly sliding it into the gap between the teeth.
3. Gently wrap the dental floss around the teeth in a 'C' shape, and move it up and down. Then, wrap the floss around the other side of the teeth and repeat the up-and-down motion.

Toothpick method

1. Gently move the toothpick left and right, slowly "glide" into the gap between the teeth, and keep the toothpick tightly against one side of the adjacent teeth.
2. Start at the closest part of the tooth to the gum, and gently pull the floss up and down to clean the adjacent surface of the tooth.
3. Then, place the floss tightly against the adjacent surface of the teeth on the other side.
4. Start from the area closest to the gum on the teeth adjacent to each other, and gently pull the floss up and down to clean.
