About the precautions for using lighter:
1. Contains pressurized flammable gas, please keep away from children.
2. Do not pierce or throw around the lighter, and do not throw it into the fire;
3. Please use in a ventilated environment and be aware of flammable materials.
4. The direction of the fire should be strictly prohibited from facing the face, skin, and combustible materials such as clothing to avoid danger;
5. When igniting, please make sure to identify the position of the flame outlet and press lightly to light. Different styles of lighters use different methods of ignition: straight, side, or edge strikes; for gasoline engines, quickly rub the wheel, and for loud engines, use the thumb to quickly rub the drum from right to left;
6. When using, if there is any ash or other debris falling into the fire outlet by accident, it should be immediately blown away with force to remove the debris, otherwise it may cause a fire to occur;
7. When the lid of a gas lighter, such as a Zippo, is opened, the gas begins to escape. Therefore, please make sure to close the lid tightly when not in use to prevent gas from escaping.
8. Lighters are not suitable for lighting, please do not burn for more than 1 minute to avoid scalding the skin by high temperature;
9. Do not leave lighter in a high-temperature environment for a long time (50°C/122°F), and avoid direct sunlight for a long time, such as around stoves, closed car compartments and trunks in outdoor areas.
10. Due to the climate restrictions on burning conditions in areas above 3000 meters, the ignition performance of windproof and direct-shot lighters will be significantly affected. At this time, it is recommended to use open flame lighters;
11. For portable and other craft-type lighters, it is necessary to clearly identify the flame outlet, the actuation button, the air intake, and the flame regulator to ensure proper use.
12. Use only qualified butane gas. Poor-quality gas may damage the lighter or reduce its service life.
Some Common Sense About Lighters:
Lighter are processed with unique waterproof function technology, and when falling into water while the shell is closed, after picking it up, just wipe the surface water drops clean, and it will not affect the performance of use; If it falls into water before refueling or when the shell is not closed, it will cause the wicking and firestone to be wet, and it must wipe the water drops on the surface of the shell and blow dry the mechanism to prevent affecting the performance of ignition.
There is rust inside the case, what's going on?
Rust inside the case is very common and normal. The rust inside the case is caused by residual chemical agents left over from surface treatment. Since the interior of the case is invisible in daily use, and there is friction between the movement and the case, the interior of the case is not decorated. This is a normal manifestation.
Regulate the flame
1. When using, the flame height may vary to some extent due to the decrease in product air content and changes in surrounding environmental temperature. This is a normal phenomenon, and you can adjust the flame height appropriately.
2. When using, the normal flame height should be adjusted to
Lighter with a windproof and direct-stream function measures 1.5-2.5 cm; loud-voiced, gasoline, and open flame lighters measure 2.5-4.0 cm.
3. If you need to adjust the height of the flame, please use a screwdriver to align with the recess of the flame regulator; if the lighter itself has a regulating ring, you can adjust it directly with your fingers.
Turn in the direction of the arrow (clockwise), you can adjust the flame height down.
Turn in the direction of the (+) arrow, i.e. counterclockwise, to increase the flame height.
Note: Rotate counterclockwise, do not exceed half a circle beyond the normal flame height. Otherwise, there is a possibility of damaging this product;
4. Gas lighters should be adjusted by adjusting the height of the flame by adjusting the height of the flame. If the flame is too high, you can cut off a little of the wick with scissors; if the flame is too low, you can pull out the wick appropriately.
Gas filling method
1. When refueling, there must be no sparks or fire sources around to ensure safety. Do not smoke while refueling;
2. Only use qualified butane gas. Poor-quality gas may damage the lighter or reduce its service life.
3. When refueling a standard model, invert the lighter, align the gas bottle's outlet with the lighter's inlet, and cover it tightly. Press down a few times, each time holding for about 2 seconds. If the gas cannot be injected, it may be due to residual air in the tank. In this case, you can vent the air by pressing the inlet with a small screwdriver quickly 1-2 times, and then try refueling again.
4. When filling the Liang Sheng machine, please first loosen the screw cap of the air intake with a flathead screwdriver or other tools, and then follow the above steps. After the gas filling is completed, the screw cap should be rotated flat, not too tightly; otherwise, it may cause the lid to be not tightly sealed and the sound of the lid to be not crisp, and it may also lead to gas escape. For the deluxe Liang Sheng machine, a special air nozzle should be used to fill the gas;
5. When refueling a gasoline engine, you should open the head cover, remove the crankcase, turn it over, lift the outer sponge to add the appropriate amount of gasoline, wait for the gasoline to seep into the inner layer of sponge, cover the outer sponge, and then insert it into the engine case;
6. After refilling various lighter fuels, it is necessary to wait at least 1 minute to allow the newly charged gas to adjust to room temperature. Additionally, wait until any residual gas on the lighter's exterior has completely evaporated before attempting to light it. If you attempt to light the lighter immediately, it may ignite the residual gas on the exterior, causing unnecessary danger. After refilling the gas, if the flame height is too high or too low when used, this is normal. You can adjust the flame height appropriately.
