Precautions
1. Contains pressurized flammable gas; keep away from children;
2. Do not puncture or play with a lighter; do not throw it into fire;
3. Use in a well-ventilated area; be aware of flammable materials;
4. The firehead direction must never point towards the face, skin, or combustible materials such as clothing, to prevent danger;
5. When lighting, make sure you know the position of the flame hole and press gently to ignite. Lighters of different models use different ignition methods;
6. When in use, if ash or other debris fall into the flame hole accidentally, blow forcefully to remove them promptly; otherwise, it may lead to poor combustion.
7. Loud speakers, grinding wheels, and gas lighters – once the cover is opened, gas begins to escape. Therefore, when not ignited, please ensure the cover is tightly closed for safe storage;
8. This product is not suitable for lighting. Do not burn continuously for more than 1 minute to avoid skin burns from high heat;
9. Do not keep the lighter in a high-temperature environment for long periods (50°C/122°F), nor expose it to direct sunlight for extended times, such as around a stove, in enclosed outdoor vehicles without people, or in the trunk.
10. Due to the climate conditions above 3000 meters above sea level, which impose restrictions on combustion conditions, the ignition performance of windproof and direct-flame lighters is significantly affected. In this case, it is recommended to use open-flame lighters;
11. For desktop and similar type lighters, it is necessary to clearly identify the positions of the seven flame ports, the trigger button, the air inlet, and the flame regulator to ensure correct use.
12. Qualified butane gas should be used, as inferior gas may damage the lighter or reduce its lifespan.
Adjust the flame
1. When using it, as the gas content of the product decreases and the ambient temperature changes, the flame height will vary to some extent. This is a normal phenomenon, and you can adjust the flame height appropriately.
2. When in use, the normal flame height should be adjusted to:
Flame-resistant and direct-blow lighters are 1.5–2.5 centimeters in size; loud-blow, gasoline, and open-flame lighters are 2.5–4.0 centimeters.
3. If you need to adjust the flame height, use a flat screwdriver to align it with the groove of the flame regulator. If the lighter comes with an adjustable ring, you can adjust it directly by turning it clockwise in the (-) direction with your finger to lower the flame height.
Rotate in the direction of the arrow (+), which is counter-clockwise, to increase the flame height.
4. A gasoline lighter should control the flame height by adjusting the height of the ignition wick. If the flame height is too high, a pair of scissors can be used to cut off a small portion of the wick.
If the flame is too low, the wick can be pulled out appropriately.
Gasification Method
1. During gas filling, there must be no sparks or flames around to ensure safety. Do not fill the tank while smoking.
2. Qualified butane gas should be used, as inferior gas may damage the lighter or reduce its lifespan;
3. When filling the gas for regular models, turn the lighter upside down, align the gas cylinder with the air inlet of the lighter, and press firmly for about 2 seconds each time. If gas cannot be added, it may be due to excess air in the cylinder. In this case, you can release the air. Turn the lighter upright, use a small screwdriver to target the air inlet, and release air rapidly 1–2 times, then repeat the upside-down filling procedure.
4. When refueling gasoline, open the cap, remove and reverse the mechanism, lift off the outer sponge, add an appropriate amount of gasoline, wait until the gasoline penetrates the inner cotton layer, then cover the outer sponge and place it back inside the casing;
5. After refueling various lighters, wait at least one minute to allow the newly added gas to reach room temperature. Also, wait until any residual gas on the lighter surface has completely evaporated before igniting. If you attempt ignition immediately, the residual gas on the lighter surface may ignite, causing unnecessary danger. After refueling, if the flame height is too high or too low during use, it is normal, and the flame height can be adjusted appropriately.
