The new MS6818 (MY6818) cable detector can provide assistance for such users.

Working Principle:
The MS6818 (MY6818) cable detector includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter applies a modulated AC voltage to the corresponding cable, which generates an electric field around the cable; the receiver is equipped with a coil. If the receiver is placed near the corresponding conductor, the flux line will pass through the coil and enter the receiver. This phenomenon is also known as penetrating the coil. A small voltage will be generated in the coil, and the electronic circuit of the receiver will calculate this voltage and display it on the screen. The special feature of MS6818 (MY6818) is that the signal transmitted is digital encoded. This ensures that the signal can be received clearly by the receiver, avoiding any false displays caused by interference fields (such as electronic ballasts for fluorescent lamps or inverters).
