The power lightning protection of LED street lights can be selected according to its input voltage (and the local thunderstorm days), generally with two levels of protection; Signal lightning protection can be installed in the corresponding signal lightning protector (the selection of signal lightning protector mainly depends on the type of signal line) in series on the signal line of LED street lights, generally installed at the front end of the signal line entering the equipment and the control room device end. Secondly, it is necessary to do well the lightning grounding, working grounding, SPD grounding of LED street lights, and it is preferable to use a common grounding device, and the grounding resistance should be less than 4 ohms.
