Iron tea kettles originated in China and later spread to and became popular in Japan, where they have been considered essential utensils for enhancing the tea tasting experience. Iron kettles combine practicality, health benefits, beauty, and artistic value, making them a prized collection for tea enthusiasts.

The main advantages of iron kettles:

   1. Tea brewing tools: Iron kettles boil water at a higher temperature, 2-3 degrees higher than general stainless steel kettles, and the insulation time is also longer. Using high-temperature water for tea brewing can stimulate and enhance the aroma of tea. Especially for old Pu'er tea, which has been aged for a long time, it is necessary to use enough high-temperature water to fully release its quality of aged aroma and tea charm. It is truly a perfect match and has gradually become a professional tea tool essential for tea appreciation, tea competition, tea identification, and tea party activities for players of Pu'er tea.

   2. Improving Water Quality: Making the water softer and sweeter, it can effectively improve and enhance the taste of tea, making your good tea even more delicious.

   III. Iron Supplementation: Adults need 0.8-1.5 milligrams of iron per day. Iron kettles can release iron ions that are easily absorbed by the body, supplementing what the body needs and effectively preventing anemia. If used long-term, cast iron tea sets can regulate the central nervous system of the human body, achieving a relaxing effect, and also have a beneficial effect on balancing the endocrine system.

   Fourthly, appreciation and collection: Iron kettles are not only tea utensils, but superior cast iron kettles are also artworks with potential for appreciation and collection, with the potential for appreciation.

【Usage Instructions】:

 1. Before use, please boil clean water and then drain it, keeping it for later use.

  2. The optimal water temperature for brewing tea is 70-80 degrees Celsius (it must be boiled water to this temperature). Generally, the first cup of tea is discarded and not consumed.

  3. After each use, pour out the remaining water and wipe the inside of the kettle with a clean soft cloth to prevent rust. The tea in the kettle cannot be left overnight.

  4. After each use, the tea net should be cleaned with a soft brush. (It is best to use separate tea nets for black tea, green tea, etc. to prevent cross-contamination).

  5. During use, if there is a residual portion of 'rust spots' on the surface of the pot, this is due to the chemical reaction between tea and the iron content in enamel, which is harmless to the human body. Please use a soft brush or soft cloth to apply a little vegetable oil to wipe the affected area. Or, after wiping clean with a used tea bag or tea leaves, you can still use it with confidence.

  6. When boiling tea or brewing tea, the amount of water to be added should be about 80% of the tea pot's capacity to prevent boiling water from spilling over.

【注意事项】

1. When boiling water to make tea, the amount of water should not exceed 80% of the pot capacity to prevent the boiling water from spilling over.

    II. The handle of the teapot is insulated, but the lid of the teapot is hot. When pouring boiling tea, use a folded tea cloth to pad your hand to hold the lid, to prevent burning your hands;

    3. Boil the water promptly after moving it off the stove, place it on a tea pot mat to prevent splashing or scalding the tea table surface;

     Fourthly, this pot is cast entirely from wrought iron, with a flat bottom. It can be heated using a gas stove, electric stove, electric magnetism stove, or charcoal stove, but it is prohibited to use a microwave oven for heating.

     5. After each use, make sure to rinse away the water and tea leaves, and dry the inside and outside of the iron kettle with a soft, dry cloth. The filter screen can be cleaned with a soft brush. Only clean with clean water, and do not use cleaning agents. At the same time, avoid using sharp, hard, or metal tools to scrub the coating surface.

    6. When brewing tea in iron kettles, green tea, flower tea, and new Pu'er tea are best at 70-80 degrees Celsius (this temperature must be achieved by boiling water and then allowing it to cool to this temperature). For aged Pu'er tea, it is best to brew with higher temperatures.

Extraordinary Explanation: This kettle is made entirely of wrought iron, with a flat bottom that allows it to be placed on an infrared electric stove or an electric induction cooktop. The water that comes out of it is much sweeter, softer, and more delicious. When you boil high-quality tea, such as aged Pu'er, Tibetan tea, Fu Zhuan, black tea, etc., into the iron kettle and drink it, it has a unique flavor.
The handle is also made of iron, but it is separated from the kettle body, so it won't burn your hands. The iron kettle is a bit heavy, so you need to be mentally prepared when lifting it.

Notes:

   The first time you use the kettle, place a tea bag wrapped in a cloth inside the iron kettle and add water to boil for about 10 minutes. You can also use lemon slices directly in the iron kettle to remove odors. In this way, the tannins in the tea and the iron from the kettle will form a layer of tannic acid iron on the surface of the kettle, making it less likely to rust. After boiling, pour out the water from the kettle, repeat this process 2-3 times until the water quality is transparent. It is recommended to use the new kettle every day at the beginning to allow the scale to quickly cover.

   Iron kettles are more suitable for heat sources such as charcoal fire. Now, using electric heating stoves, gas stoves, and electromagnetic ovens can also be used. It is recommended to heat with moderate energy because the characteristic of iron kettles is to release iron slowly through the process of gradual heating, thereby improving the taste of drinking water and helping the absorption of body minerals.

    When using daily, please fill the kettle to 8/10 full to prevent overflowing when boiling. After about 5 days of use, red spots may appear on the inner wall of the iron kettle. About 10 days later, white scale may appear. These are normal phenomena. As long as the water is not muddy, it does not affect drinking. Please do not remove it. Do not mistake it for rust and wipe or wash it. If the situation is really serious, gently wipe it with a sponge or soft towel.

  After each use, use a small fire to fully evaporate the water in the pot, then use a dry soft cloth to dry it, keeping the pot dry. Do not cover the lid before the pot cools down, and use a dry cloth to dry the lid. This is because, if you cover the lid immediately after filling the boiling water into a thermos bottle or other container, the steam in the pot will turn into water drops as the temperature drops, which will lead to rust.
