Simplified Instruction Manual for Electronic Fence High Voltage Tester
 
1. Product Purpose
 
This tester is specifically used to detect high voltage on pulse electronic fences for pastures and boundary walls. It can quickly verify whether the fence energizer outputs voltage properly, and identify wire breaks or electrical leakage in the fence. It is compatible with pulse fences ranging from 0 to 12KV.
 
2. External Labels
 
– Ground symbol terminal: Must be connected to the ground wire; reliable grounding is required

- Voltage indicator settings: 2KV / 4KV / 6KV / 8KV / 10KV / 12KV

- Metal detection probe: Touch the live metal wire of the fence

- Hanging hook: For storage by hanging
 
3. Operation Steps
 
1. Connect one end of the black wire attached to the tester to the ground (wet soil or metal ground stake), ensuring solid grounding.

2. Hold the insulated shell of the tester, and gently touch the live steel wire of the electronic fence with the metal probe.

3. Check the indicator lights on the yellow panel; the highest lit light indicates the current line voltage.
Example: If both the 4KV and 6KV lights are on, the fence voltage is about 6 kilovolts.
 
4. Reading Instructions
 
- Only 2KV light is on: Line voltage is approximately 2000V (low voltage). Check the energizer and grounding system.

- Multiple lights ranging from 2KV to 10KV turn on: The energizer outputs voltage as expected.

- All six lights turn on: Voltage ≥ 1200V.

- No lights turn on: No high voltage on the fence line. Troubleshoot the energizer, broken wires, or grounding faults.
 
5. Safety Precautions
 
- Only for pulse electronic fence testing. Do NOT test industrial alternating current or municipal high voltage.

- Only hold the insulated handle during testing. Never touch the metal probe or live fence wires.

- Improve insulation when operating on wet ground during rainy days; do not conduct tests barefoot.

- Children are not allowed to touch or operate this tool.

The electronic fence pressure sensor is used to check whether the voltage of the electronic fence is stable.
