The Design Intelligence Award 2018 supported by the Provincial Government of Zhejiang, sponsored by the China Academy of Art, and co-organized by the China Industrial Design Association held the award ceremony on the evening of May 8. The "Parking AGV" designed by Xue Lan of Zhejiang Province and the "Power-concentrated EMUs of New Generation" designed by Gao Nan of Hunan Province won the supreme Golden Intelligence Award. Zhejiang Governor Yuan Jiajun attended the ceremony and presented the Golden Intelligence Award to the winners.

     Founded in 2016, the Design Intelligence Award is the first academy award in the field of industrial design in China. It has made new achievements and breakthroughs in the aspects of the number of awards, number of entries, level of internationalization, and platform expansion. In particular, it closely complies with the development needs of Zhejiang's distinctive massive economy, relies upon the innovation platforms of award-winning industries, and sets two special awards including the "Design of Yiwu", strongly promoting the innovative development, transformation, and upgrading of regional economy.
