The Fair of this year provides 2,012 standard booths in five halls, namely Asia I, Asia II, Europe, America-Australia-Africa & Cross-border Trade & Zhenjiang-International Sister Cities Exchange, and Imported Sweets and Wines, with an exhibition area of over 50,000m2 . Among the nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 85 countries and regions, 170 are from 40 countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” to exhibit daily necessities, home supplies, handicrafts, foods and drinks.
Echoing China International Import Expo (CIIE), a special area is reserved for over 20 CIIE companies to exhibit their quality products including Bosch Group (Germany), skin care brand Rilastil (Italy), and Alligga (Canada) specializing in health products for a complete and balanced lifestyle.
In addition, a special area for international sister cities of Zhejiang Province was newly set up and gathered 33 cities from 22 countries including Brooklyn District of New York, Smalyavichy District of Belarus, Lauenburg of Germany, Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan, Chiang Mai Municipality of Thailand, Kota Kinabalu of Malaysia, and Harare of Zimbabwe, to show their special commodities and cultures at 89 booths.
The United Cities and Local Governments Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) Executive Bureau Meeting will be held during the Fair. More than 360 business leaders, government officials and scholars from 79 cities across 41 countries will gather to conduct in-depth dialogues on development.
Supporting activities are also one of the focuses of the Fair. Spain, as the guest of honor, will host a series of cultural events including the national image conference, the wine and food tasting, the España Fantástica show, etc. Other activities include art shows and food carnival, and the Best Series Awarding Ceremony.
To facilitate professional buyers and promote trade, a series of meetings will be held, such as 2019 China Import E-commerce Supply Chain Summit, 2019 China Retail Imported Commodities Purchase (Yiwu) Summit, and overseas new products launch conferences.
