On July 8, the Belt and Road International Forum for Young Innovators was held at Yourworld International Conference Center in Yiwu. The theme this year was “Open and Innovative: Youth Partners”.

    Dong Xia, deputy secretary general of All-China Youth Federation; Hong Guimei,deputy director of China International Youth Exchange Center; Zhu Linsen, honorary chairman of the Youth Federation of Zhejiang Province; and Lin Yi, Yiwu Municipal Party Committee secretary, attended the forum. Duo Jia, Jinhua Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee Member and deputy mayor, hosted the event.

    Lin Yi announced the following policies to support the young innovators from central and eastern European (CEE) countries. First, Yiwu will provide over 1,000 young people with business startup training; second, Yiwu will provide them with free accommodation for a certain period of time; third, Yiwu will provide convenient services and offer lower rent prices to those who set up imports display windows; fourth, Yiwu will provide additional services like travel expenses and financial support, e-commerce training and product delivery support; fifth, Yiwu will also make requirements such as registration of companies, application for work permit and application for residence permit more convenient. 

    Representatives from the 17 CEE countries, China International Youth Exchange Center, Youth Federation of Zhejiang Province, Alibaba Group, and Yiwu Government delivered speeches or participated in the forums.
