From July 2-4, Virgilio Falco, head of the delegation of the European People's Party Youth Organization and president of the European Democratic Students'Union, came to Yiwu for a visit, accompanied by the Central Liaison Department and the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office. Li Junfu, member of the Standing Committee of Yiwu Municipal Committee and deputy mayor, received the delegation.

    Li welcomed the delegation and introduced the development of Yiwu's socioeconomic sphere, the “Run with Yiwu” Global Youth Business Program (GYBP), and the construction of Belt and Road in Yiwu. Deeply impressed by everywhere he went, Virgilio Falco said the visit has deepened his understanding of Yiwu, Zhejiang, and China as a whole. He will pay more attention to the development of Yiwu, Zhejiang, and China, sharing his experience with others.

    On July 2, the delegation visited the Siji Yanxuan live broadcast base to learn more about live broadcasting, a new model of e-commerce. Then the delegation went to Yiwu Chengxin School to experience traditional Chinese culture. Here, the members of the delegation were most interested in the experience of the Guqin instrument, pottery, calligraphy, and Go (also known as wei chi, a strategy game).

    On July 3, the delegation went to the Yiwu West Railway Station to learn more about the China Railway Express project, and a symposium was held. During their stay, the delegation also visited the 1^st and the 4^th Districts of the Tourist Shopping Center of the International Trade City.
