Yiwu a Top Exhibition City

    From August 30 to September 1, the 15^th China International Expo Festival and 2019 China Development Forum were held in Hangzhou. On September 4, together with nine other cities—including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Hangzhou and Wuhan—Yiwu was labeled one of “The Ten Famous Cities of the Chinese Exhibition Industry,” which is honored like the Oscars in the Chinese Exhibition Industry. This was the second time Yiwu has won the title since last year.

    The city-selection activity of the Chinese Exhibition Industry was launched by the Chinese Exhibition, the only one formal periodical that covers the National Development and Reform Commission. It has been held for 18 years and has drawn the attention and widespread acceptance of the industry.

    The forum was themed “Cooperation of different circles, scientific innovation, and exhibition culture,” and over 400 leaders and other responsible persons from governing bodies, organizations, associations, professional institutions, and companies involved in the exhibition industry turned up at the opening ceremony of the forum.
