Tik Tok Marketing Summit Opens in Yiwu
On October 11, the Tik Tok Marketing Summit, themed “Gain Popularity—Compete on Different Niches to Make Breakthroughs in the Predicament of E-Commerce,” was held in Yiwu for the first time, attracting more than 300 e-commerce entrepreneurs.
The summit was hosted by the Zhejiang Branch of the Ocean Engine, a marketing service brand owned by the Beijing Byte Dance Technology Ltd., Co., and the Jinhua Daily Media Group. At the summit, the hosts, together with e-commerce entrepreneurs and hotshots in e-commerce marketing, explored new methods to gain popularity and discussed new possibilities of e-commerce growth, with the aim to help enterprises promote their products through short-video platforms.
With more than 310,000 e-commerce sellers, Yiwu ranks first in the country in terms of the density of e-commerce businessmen engaged in domestic trade and ranks second in its engagement in international trade. How to reform the traditional e-commerce marketing methods, take advantage of short-video platforms that have a great number of users, and explore new marketing methods with short videos as an aid, have become pressing questions for Yiwu. This summit provided Yiwu with new inspiration to change its traditional marketing methods.
