On the morning of April 24, the signing ceremony of the first supporting home-based elderly care service house in Yiwu City was held in the Qingyuefu East Community, Choucheng Street. The Construction Investment Group and Choucheng Street completed the transfer of the management function of the elderly care house.

　　It is reported that Qingyuefu East Community is the first community to deliver the urban organic renewal project in Yiwu City. It is invested and constructed by the Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. with a total land area of 47.2 mu, a total construction area of about 141,000 square meters, and a total area of 221.39 square meters of home-based elderly care service house in the Qingyuefu East Community. After being put into use, the elderly in the community can enjoy such home-based care services as food and cleaning aid, day care, domestic service, spiritual comfort, leisure and entertainment, education and consultation.

　　With the deepening of population aging, how to make the elderly enjoy a quality life in their old age has become a common concern of the government and all sectors of society. At the end of last year, the Municipal Civil Affairs Department formulated the Interim Measures for the Construction and Management of Supporting Home-based Elderly Care Service Houses in New Residential District (hereinafter referred to as the Interim Measures), further strengthening the planning and construction of home-base care service facilities for the aged in Yiwu City, and promoting the high-quality development of elderly care services.
