Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Education Department announced that 15 cities and counties (cities and districts) were the experimental area of "Internet plus compulsory education", and Yiwu was on the list.

　　It is reported that the experimental area construction aims at further exploring the institutional mechanism of the integration development of urban and rural compulsory education, and comprehensively promoting the deep integration of information technology and education, and studying the deep-seated problems of "Internet plus compulsory education" in helping and supporting. The construction period of experimental area is two years in principle (from May 2020 to April 2022). After expiry of the construction, the Provincial Education Department will organize experts to conduct an assessment and publish several merit-based "Internet plus compulsory education" demonstration zones in Zhejiang Province.
