On May 28, the Yiwu Pilot Work for Deepen Reform of the Yong Pioneers and the School Communist Youth League Reform Promotion Meeting was held in the Yiwu Education Bureau.

It was learnt from the meeting, in Yiwu City there would be change in the way for the students to become the young pioneers: the way that “all children become the young pioneers at the same time” in previous years would be changed to the way that “all children become young pioneers by batches”, i.e. “one batch of children would be included after they reach the standard”.

At present, the reforms of the school communist youth leagues and the young pioneer were carried out steadily, and with efforts of the schools, especially the pilot implementation and attempt in 12 pilot schools, some highlights and features were explored, and preliminary achievements were obtained. In respect of the school communist youth leagues, Yiwu City normalized the development standards and procedures of league members, carried out the party and league integrated evaluation, established the “part-time youth league schools” “on and off line”, and also formed the league and education linkage reform working mechanism, to complete the organization system of Young Pioneers Working Committee. In terms of the reforms of young pioneers, Yiwu City expanded the education bases of “Red-scarf College”, drew the map for social practices of the young pioneers, and established the international education brand integrated with Young Pioneers.
