Under the impact of the epidemic, Yiwu Convention & Exhibition Industry showed its resourcefulness in emergency, and made “Display, Sell and View online” one of its supporting tools to ensure stability on the six fronts and security in the six areas. According to Yiwu Municipal’s Market Development Commission, Yiwu held 9 online exhibitions including Framed Painting Exhibition, Beauty Expo, and Hardware Show. These exhibitions attracted 5540 enterprises to participate in exhibitions, received a total of 16.81 million hits on line, and arranged 22000 business negotiations, with intended turnover of 1500 millon yuan. Online exhibitions became the highlight of Yiwu’s economy development.

Online exhibition is an important measure to implement the policy of “The first 20 activities to improve market prosperity”, and a key step to advance the integration of online and offline trade show. Head of the Market Development Commission, related to the trade show, said that the municipal government continues to introduce a series of policies benefiting enterprises to deal with the emergency against the spread of COVID-19. The Market Development Commission also further carried out “Three Services” to meet enterprises’ needs, guided sponsors of exhibitions to jointly build online exhibition platform, contributed to correctly match enterprises and purchasers to reach deals, achieved the sharing and union of customers of trade shows and markets, continued to prosper Yiwu market.
