Recently, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's border crossings have welcomed a large number of Vietnamese citizens traveling to China. September 2 marks Vietnam's National Day, and with a four-day holiday, many travel agencies have capitalized on this opportunity to organize overseas trips for their citizens.
Nguyen Ha Hai, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial Tourism Association and General Director of Hung Ke International Travel Company, introduced that they have partnered with Chinese companies to launch a chartered flight route between Guiyang and Hanoi, Vietnam. The inaugural flight took place on August 31, with three flights per week. The route has received an overwhelming response from the market, with high occupancy rates. Nguyen Ha Hai has been engaged in Vietnam-China cross-border tourism for nearly 30 years and has established strong cooperative relationships with his Chinese counterparts, with tourism businesses now covering most of China.
According to data from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's Department of Culture and Tourism, from January to July this year, Guangxi received approximately 56,800 overnight tourist arrivals from Vietnam, representing a year-on-year increase of 244.5%.
