From October 21st to 24th, the 30th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair (hereinafter referred to as "Yiwu Fair") will be held at the Yiwu International Expo Centre. This exhibition is jointly organized by the China General Chamber of Commerce, the China Light Industry Council, Zhejiang China Commodities City Group Co., Ltd., and others, with Yiwu China Commodities City Exhibition Co., Ltd. serving as the undertaking entity.
With the theme of "Cultivating New Foreign Trade Momentum and Shaping New Advantages in Opening Up," this exhibition features industry exhibition areas for consumer goods, hardware tools, architectural hardware, electronics and electrical appliances, toys, electromechanical machinery, sports and outdoor leisure products, cultural and office supplies, service trade, and more. Additionally, there is a "Future Market Theme Exhibition Area," with over 3,900 international standard exhibition stands, more than 2,500 exhibiting companies, and an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters.
The 30th Yiwu Fair mainly presents the following four highlights:
First "Future Market Theme Exhibition Area" Unveiled, Showcasing a New Chapter in Commercial Development: This exhibition establishes a Yiwu Future Market Theme Exhibition Area in Hall C1, with the theme of "The Question of the Times," showcasing the characteristics of "complex, large shops, diverse formats, and digitalization" to create a global digital trade center as a model for future markets. It premieres the AI intelligent entity Yapping, and the newly launched AI electronic business cards and AI digital salespersons on the Chinagoods platform will also be showcased.
Nationwide Exhibition Recruitment and Global Investment Promotion: This exhibition continues the nationwide exhibition recruitment and global investment promotion strategy, gathering more than 2,500 source enterprises from industrial bases in 20 provinces such as Zhejiang, Shandong, Hebei, Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Guangxi, showcasing new products. "Yiwu Fair Overseas Exhibitions" have been held in countries such as South Korea, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Mexico to attract foreign buyers. Meanwhile, domestic traders have been attracted from professional markets and industry exhibitions in Guangdong, Shanghai, Shandong, Hebei, and other regions. After six months of investment promotion, the results are remarkable. Domestic and international promotions have been conducted simultaneously through platforms such as Douyin, influencer live streams, TikTok, Twitter, industrial bases, professional markets, and airports. It is expected that more than 160,000 buyers will attend, including over 10,000 foreign buyers.
"Going Out" and "Bringing In" for Two-Way Trade Integration from Export to Import: The Yiwu Fair has always taken Chinese brands and small commodities abroad, helping Chinese enterprises transition from producing "good products" to creating "good brands." This Yiwu Fair will introduce foreign "influencer livestreamers" for live promotion, leveraging their language skills to resonate culturally with overseas buyers, conveying the latest small commodity information to buyers worldwide, and promoting high-quality two-way trade in international small commodities.
A Rich Variety of Activities as Old and New Friends Gather for a "Passionate Gathering": This exhibition coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Yiwu Fair. During the exhibition, various supporting activities will be held, including the "Glorious Thirty Years, Shining Starlight Ceremony" celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Yiwu Fair and the night of the 2024 First Yiwu World Buyer Conference, the Yiwu Fair Global New Product Launch, the International Small Commodities Creative Design Competition, and the Purchasing and Trade Negotiation Conference. These activities aim to enhance the experience and sense of gain for exhibitors and buyers, create new foreign trade opportunities, and more precisely and effectively promote the trade and circulation of domestic and international consumer goods.
