At 10:18 am today (November 18th), a China-Europe Train loaded with 110 standard containers of export goods such as daily necessities, auto parts, and machinery equipment departed from Yiwu West Railway Station (hereinafter referred to as "Yiwu West Station") and headed towards Madrid, Spain, over 13,000 kilometers away.

On the same day, the Yiwu-Europe Train marked its 10th anniversary since its inception. On November 18th, 2014, the first Yiwu-Europe Train (Yiwu-Madrid) departed from Yiwu, covering a total distance of 13,052 kilometers.

Over the past decade, the Yiwu-Europe Train has operated over 6,700 trains and transported more than 670,000 TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units). The annual value of transported goods has increased from $92millionto$2.62 billion, and the number of goods categories transported annually has grown from nearly 10,000 to nearly 50,000. The "steel camel caravan" service has enabled "buying from the world and selling to the world."

In the past ten years, the "Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe" train has grown vigorously like a sweet potato vine, spreading in all directions and covering the Eurasian continent. From one train in 2014 to 1,580 trains in 2023, and from a single route to 20 international railway lines, the railway transportation business now covers more than 50 countries and over 160 regions across the Eurasian continent.
