From November 19th to 22nd, the global internet community once again entered the "Wuzhen Time."
Since the inception of the World Internet Conference in 2014, this grand event has officially embarked on a "new decade." The theme of this year's conference is "Embracing a Digital Future that is People-Oriented and Intelligence for Good – Building a Cyberspace Community with a Shared Future Together."
Over the past 11 years, the small bridges here have not only connected the past and the present but also China and the world. The flowing water, which once moved slowly, has now accelerated to the speed of 5G. The sound of oars remains the same, but the waves they stir up have long been propelled forward by digital technology.
The Wuzhen Summit of the World Internet Conference has witnessed changes and innovations in technology, industry, society, and the international environment, continuously promoting the construction of a cyberspace community with a shared future.
Entering this "new decade," Wuzhen has some "new tricks up its sleeve."
New Faces
Every year, attendees of the conference eagerly anticipate showcasing cutting-edge technological achievements. The "Light of the Internet" Expo, a feast of technology, has unveiled a series of advanced technologies that have amazed everyone.
Walking through the interactive experience zones, one can notice that there are many more "people" this year, each with their unique skills.
For instance, Unitree Robotics' G1 humanoid robot can seamlessly switch between actions like "handshaking" and "saluting," and even if knocked over by a crowd, it can stand up and continue moving forward. With the exoskeleton robot from Auxsa Robotics, ordinary people can easily lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
At this year's expo, over 40 general and vertical large language models were showcased, and more than 10 embodied robots demonstrated their in-depth applications across various fields. With 665 participating companies from 53 countries and regions, including Russia, France, and Germany, and 145 overseas companies and institutions, this year's expo has set a new record in recent years.
Apart from the humanoid robots with full tech attributes, there were also robots dedicated to farming, giving injections, and drawing blood during the Wuzhen Summit.
The exhibition booth for "DaYiZhiYing's" AI cancer screening technology was packed with visitors. Using CT scans combined with AI, this technology can screen for eight types of cancers and five chronic diseases in a single scan. Currently, it is being piloted in grassroots hospitals in Lishui and Quzhou, and has cooperated with international organizations such as the World Health Organization.
Qingheng Technology's intelligent heating vest became a popular product at the expo. With a nano intelligent heating core material as thin as a hair, it can make people feel like they are in a hot spring in just 10 seconds.
Additionally, at the exhibition on digital empowerment for common prosperity demonstration zone construction, a smart pole more than two meters tall, topped with several equipment buckets, can serve as a field meteorological station covering nearly 500 acres of land and encompassing more than ten real-time monitoring indicators.
From sci-fi imaginations to frequent "tech shows," attendees couldn't help but marvel, "Is there anything robots can't do?"
However, compared to the robots working in the forefront, scientists, programmers, and other behind-the-scenes heroes are even more admirable.
This year's World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit introduced four new special activities:
