With the first firecracker going off, the "leading dragon" rises. On February 11th (the fourteenth day of the first lunar month), every household in Nanqingkou Village, Chi'an Town, Yiwu, will take out the bridge planks they prepared in advance to welcome and dance with the "Water Field Dragon Lanterns." During the dragon lantern welcoming ceremony, villagers will link the "dragon bodies" together like beads forming a chain, parade around the village for three laps, and finally complete the ritual of placing the lanterns in the paddy fields.
At the scene, villagers danced with a magnificent red dragon composed of 128 sections of bridge planks pieced together, creating a spectacular and awe-inspiring sight. This not only demonstrated the villagers' spirit of unity and cooperation but also conveyed their beautiful wishes for future life.
