Falling in Love with Chinese-Made Products at First Sight! A Foreign Businessman Places an Order for 10,000 Pairs of Sunglasses on the Spot in Yiwu 08:00, April 10, 2025 · Dahe Daily 

The first national high-quality foreign trade products exchange and docking event of this year organized by the Ministry of Commerce was held in Yiwu, Zhejiang on April 8. The event gathered numerous suppliers, logistics enterprises and international purchasers, helping enterprises to stabilize orders and expand the market. 

This event focused on the local purchaser resources in Yiwu. More than 90 suppliers from four industries, namely auto and motorcycle parts, hardware, eyewear and small household appliances, were specifically invited to participate in the docking. Overseas purchasers covered key regions such as the Middle East and Africa. At the event site, a purchaser from Pakistan fell in love with the Chinese-made sunglasses at first sight and immediately placed an order for 10,000 pairs.

Wu Di, a Moroccan purchaser, also shuttles among the booths of various suppliers in search of business opportunities. Since the beginning of this year, he has purchased goods in more than 50 containers from Yiwu, covering multiple categories such as hardware, electronic devices, and daily necessities.
