On the morning of May 18, a sea-rail intermodal train loaded with goods such as home appliances, hardware machinery, and daily necessities departed from Yiwu West Railway Station, heading straight for Ningbo-Zhoushan Port. Upon its arrival at the port, the 100 export containers on board will be loaded onto the vessel "UNIFEEDER" and transported directly to Jebel Ali Port in the United Arab Emirates via a direct Middle East shipping route.

It is reported that this marks the successful dispatch of the first consignment of export goods from Yiwu to Dubai utilizing the "Rail-Sea Express + Middle East Express" logistics model. This new model breaks through the limitations of traditional logistics enterprises' single-mode transportation services, innovating with a "segmented customs clearance + full-chain service" functionality. It establishes an efficient logistics service hub network featuring "cargo consolidation in Yiwu + shipment from Ningbo + distribution in Dubai," thereby forging a major trade and logistics corridor between "Yiwu and the Middle East."

This dual-express logistics model of "Rail-Sea Express + Middle East (Dubai) Express" has achieved precise alignment between the warehouses of Yiwu Port and deep-water shorelines. Goods are seamlessly transferred to the "Middle East Express" without the need for container changes, reducing the transit time from Yiwu's cargo consolidation warehouse to Dubai's distribution terminals from the original 23 days to just 17 days, and cutting logistics costs by approximately 18%.
