On March 11th, with the care and support from leaders at various governmental levels including the Shenzhen Municipal Social Organization Administration Bureau, the United Front Work Department of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, the Nanshan District People's Government, the Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Shenzhen Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, the Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau, and the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, the "2025 8th Global Cross-border E-commerce Festival Press Conference" was successfully held. The event was hosted by the Shenzhen Cross-border E-commerce Association and jointly organized by the China Overseas Development Association, China Time-honored Brands, Great Power Brands, the US-China E-commerce Trade Association, Hong Kong Economic Journal, and The Mirror Post of Hong Kong.

In 2024, the 7th Global Cross-border E-commerce Festival was held in Shenzhen, attracting over 2,000 exhibitors, more than 100 government and business elites, and tens of thousands of industry professionals. During the exhibition, over 20 concurrent events were held, and the online live broadcast garnered over 1.5 million views. The three-day exhibition attracted more than 103,000 visitors.
