On June 26, a bustling scene of preparations unfolded inside the exhibition halls of Yiwu International Expo Center: Construction teams were systematically erecting standardized exhibition booths, exhibitors were busy arranging their latest kitchen and bathroom products, while forklifts and handlers moved briskly among them, making final preparations for the opening of the 2025 Yiwu Kitchen & Bathroom Facilities Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the Yiwu Kitchen & Bath Exhibition) on the 28th.
It is reported that this year's Yiwu Kitchen & Bath Exhibition covers an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, featuring 1,300 international standard booths. The exhibits encompass a wide range of products, including kitchen and bathroom hardware fittings, cabinets and integrated kitchen and bathroom facilities, kitchenware and accessories, kitchen and bathroom appliances, among others. In total, over 20,000 products are on display, attracting more than 1,000 source factories from kitchen and bathroom industrial clusters in provinces and municipalities such as Guangdong, Fujian, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hebei, and Shanghai to participate. Notably, this year's exhibition has also introduced a dedicated exhibition zone for valve and pipe fittings, bringing together dozens of high-quality valve and pipe fitting enterprises from across the country. These companies are showcasing hundreds of products, including industrial valves, civil pipe fittings, and intelligent control valves.
"Our Yiwu Kitchen & Bath Exhibition has been successfully held for four editions, and this year marks the fifth. With strong support from the Yiwu Market Development Commission and leveraging Yiwu's advantages in foreign trade, foreign merchant aggregation, and express logistics, the scale of the exhibition has consistently grown. This year, the number of booths has increased by 20% year-on-year, and the scale of special exhibition halls has also risen by 20%," said Du Guangjun, the person in charge of the exhibition organizer. He added that ahead of the exhibition, the company fully utilized diverse overseas social media platforms such as TikTok and Facebook. Through precise content planning and multi-channel dissemination, they conducted global promotion for the Yiwu Kitchen & Bath Exhibition. Simultaneously, they actively engaged customer groups from different countries, inviting them to share and disseminate information on their respective social media accounts, thereby building a global social media communication network. Over 100 customers have inquired about the exhibition, expressing their intention to entrust domestic foreign trade companies to attend and make purchases on their behalf.
As of now, thousands of foreign merchants from countries and regions including India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Cameroon, and Nigeria have brought orders to participate in the procurement negotiation meetings organized by the exhibition host.
The reporter learned that with the successive holding of various exhibitions, they play a significant role in introducing and nurturing exhibition activities, facilitating business negotiations and transactions, exploring new markets, and stimulating consumption. This also means that industries such as trade, tourism, hospitality, transportation, and finance will be further activated. From January to May this year, Yiwu hosted 24 economic and trade exhibitions, covering an exhibition area of 477,000 square meters, representing year-on-year increases of 20% and 30.9%, respectively. These exhibitions attracted over 680,000 professional buyers, marking a 21.7% year-on-year increase.
