On February 6, the Yiwu Branch of China Post announced that the Yiwu-Osaka cargo flight will reopen beginning February 11, with a total of five flights per week. Donations for the coronavirus outbreak from Japanese local governments, social welfare organizations, Chinese expats in Japan, companies, medical institutions, and medical manufacturers to Zhejiang Province will be shipped via the Yiwu-Osaka cargo flight.
In order to ensure the timely arrival of the international donations, the Zhejiang Post has opened a green channel specially for donations from Japan by way of Yiwu-Osaka air cargo. The donations will be delivered to the 22 institutions designated by the Civil Affairs Department of Zhejiang Province and three other institutions in Yiwu, all free of charge.
The Yiwu-Osaka Cargo Flight was put into operation in August of 2019 by the China Post, with five flights per week from Tuesday to Saturday.
