Yiwu Resumes Business
Post Time: 2020-02-21
On February 20, CCTV News reported that Yiwu, the International Trade City, resumed business on February 18.
All the epidemic prevention checkpoints have been removed from national and provincial highways and rural roads, and the county passenger routes in Zhejiang Province will re-open on February 20, except those in Wenzhou City.
Unblocking has accelerated the pace of Zhejiang’s resumption of work. With the opening of Yiwu, China’s Commodity City and International Trade City, more than 50,000 business households resume work and welcome global merchants. Huang Shuling, a merchant in Yiwu, said, “Now, our market has opened and companies have also resumed work. The government has taken so many effective measures. I believe that things will definitely get better.” (By Tan Zhixiao, translated by Zhang Jiajia, edited by Mariam Ayad)
